Before I lab this up I wanted to get some feedback from the community. I was planning on using IPAM to monitor my DHCP servers for scope usage with the intent of getting alerts when address scopes were running out of addresses so that we could remediate proactively. I've played with the online demo a bit and I'm not exactly sure where IPAM will monitor my scopes regularly enough to let me know that the scope is filled up.
Can anyone give me some feedback on how IPAM works with DHCP severs and what sort of 'polling' timeframe exists for testing address availability from a scope?
I'll try and lab this up a in the next few weeks and post back to this thread with my findings.
