Custom Properties Parent Child relationships

Is there a way for us to establish Parent -> Child relationships amongst custom properties?  My example is this:

Device_Type:

Network

Server

Server_Type:

Physical

Virtual

I would only want the Server_Type custom property applied to a device which has it's Device_Type set to Server.  All other devices would ignore the Server_Type custom property field.
